6490 UV Sensor
Measures the intensity of the sunburning portion of the UV spectrum. Allows you to display UV index, dose rate, and daily and accumulated dose. Multi-layer filter provides a spectral response that closely matches the Erythema Action Spectrum. Diffuser provides excellent cosine response. Two-piece housing minimizes radiation heating, allows convection cooling of the sensor, and prevents the trapping of water or dust. Includes built-in level and 0.6 m cable.
Compatible with both original Vantage Pro and Vantage Pro2 (Already included with Vantage Pro2 Plus).
To mount next to a Rain Collector, use the Sensor Mounting Shelf (#6673). Use the Universal Mounting Bracket for other applications (#6670 - contact us). You might also like to add a a Solar Radiation Sensor (#6450).
This product can be integrated with the EnviroMonitor system, or with the Sensor Transmitter AC Powered (#6331AU) or with the Sensor Transmitter Solar Powered (#6332).
